You say I am too critical.

I know.

You say I react with too much sarcasm.

It’s true.

You say I should be kinder if you make mistakes.

You are not wrong.

You say that everyone repeats mistakes; I should not blame you for that.

I assume not repeating mistakes is hard sometimes.

You say no one is perfect.

I agree. I am not perfect either.

You say I should appreciate you more.

You are right. I should.

You say I should notice when you are doing something right.

Yes, I need to credit you more for your efforts.

You say I don’t understand you.

I know I could try harder.

You say I don’t show my love often enough.

Yes, I should be more loving.

You say I should be more forgiving.

Yes, forgiveness is important. I need to work on that.

But when will you be kinder, less sarcastic,

more forgiving and understanding

and loving

to me?
