On Hold

Phone hell :-)

For the last hour I’ve been on hold,

the music they play is loud and bold.

Inside I seethe and growl

My face has a deep scowl.

I just have a simple question.

but AI took possession,

looped me through prompt and prompt,

until I felt swamped.

Finally waiting for a human

but stuck on hold I remain.

This must be some kind of purgatory,

where waiting forever is mandatory.
